To say we are regulars at this Roanoke landmark is an understatement! We go on Fridays and our order is ready before it is paid for. We get a hot dog combo, Sloppy Joe combo, and SC BBQ and chili beans, which is consistently delicious. BUT … More

I have been a loyal Roanoke wiener stand customer since childhood and have always loved the hot dogs. They bring back good memories, similar to Jak’n Jil in Charlottesville. … More

I frequent the Weiner Stand when I make a run to my pharmacy during my lunch hour. Yesterday, that was a little later than usual (mid-afternoon). Nothing was different than the noon rush. There was a shorter line, but the service was still quick and the food was hot. Especially the crinkle cut fries, which always seem like they just came out of the frier. I especially like that they are cooked just to the right crispness and are not seasoned. The hot dogs are just right, too.

Vintage dive hotdog joint locals hotspot that rivals Ben’s Chili bowl in DC. Everything was great, fresh and the jalapeños were spicy! Additional points for exceptional French fries that were served piping hot.

Our first time trying this since we moved to Roanoke. I got the bbq combo. The fries were hot and crispy. The coleslaw was very good(I'd go back to get a quart of that if I could. The bbq surprised me. It was served in a hot dog bun, and … More

Haven't been in years. Very sad to see what this has become. They now charge for refills almost the same price as the first drink to start with. A refill per almost every restaurant owner I know costs the company maybe 10-20cent. When they give you your first drink they try to load it with ice! Telling them to put everything on the dog apparently doesn't mean slaw. When you do get the slaw it's in a small dipping container and it's 80cent. The 2 hot dog fries and medium drink are not worth $9.99. The hot dogs are very small in diameter. The amount of chili is slim at best. They do NOT have to go boxes they only have wraps you have to wrap your food and put it in brown small bags. Pictures included, hotdog beside a fry to give size comparison.***I highly recommend to STAY AWAY from this restaurant as it's went downhill*** oh and the staff just freely make fun of customers after you leave. I should have taken a video.
